Land use is one of BEH's three "calling card" practice areas, the others being Telecommunications Law and Municipal Water & Electric Utilities. We offer depth of experience and responsiveness in land use matters of widely varying scope and complexity:

- local hearings
- appeals at the Land Use Board of Appeals, the Oregon Court of Appeals and Supreme Court, the US District Court for the District of Oregon, and local circuit courts
- imposition and fulfillment of conditions of approval
Pamela Beery is a recognized land use expert in the state and handles land use matters for cities and counties at all levels.
Paul Elsner represents cities in the enforcement of conditions and codes, and the administration and collection of performance securities.
