Matthew J. Michel, Associate, focuses on general municipal law and litigation, and he specializes in public utility law and water law. Prior to becoming an attorney, Matt worked for government at the federal, state and local levels and earned a master's degree from a top ranked public administration program. Complementing his role as general counsel to municipal corporations is Matt's courtroom experience, first as a federal judicial clerk and now as a litigation and appellate specialist in the firm.
Matt and his wife Jen have a daughter Mia and a son Elias. A tea drinker, Matt keeps a 60° lob wedge in the office to help him visualize his approach to complex issues.
