David Doughman

David F. Doughman, Partner, specializes in land use and public contracting issues for the firm's clients. He became a partner with the firm in June, 2009.

David was born in Boston, MA and grew up in Minneapolis, MN. He graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1995, summa cum laude, and having been beaten by the endless winters headed west for mountains and a temperate climate. David arrived in Portland in 1996 and began law school in Eugene in 1997, where he met his (much) better half, Nicole.

David lives in North Portland, and he and Nicole have a beautiful baby boy named Blake that arrived in July 2010. His household is replete with two cats, a Boston Terrier and a Pug. These days, he has traded his hockey stick for a mountain bike that he doesn't ride as much as he should. He also enjoys changing diapers, reading, hiking, all sorts of cool music, and fancies himself an armchair economist.
