Christopher Crean, Of Counsel, has 18 years experience in land use, government relations and municipal law. Chris served four sessions in the Office of Legislative Counsel in Salem advising the Oregon Legislature on land use issues and drafting the state land use laws. He also served as Special Counsel to the Senate Committee on Land Use and the Environment. Chris represented private development interests as an associate with Miller Nash LLP, and local government as an Assistant County Attorney for Multnomah County. Chris has represented public and private clients in the Oregon Tax Courts, the Land Use Board of Appeals and all levels of Oregon's Judicial Courts.
Chris grew up in Indiana, where he attended Earlham College. He received his law degree from The American University. He is married to Nancy Harlan and together they have a son Colin. Chris is an avid canoer, skier and backpacker and has been known to cheer for Notre Dame football.
